Amba Molly

This is amazing! It is a project of Amba Molly. It is like art..  I am crazy about the materials and the colors.  This is how Amba Molly describes her project : 

In my Master’s project Atlas, I visualize the dialogue between the craft world and the industrial world in the context of corpus. By looking differently at the tradition of making corpus, which has a long history, and by juxtaposing this craft world to the industrial world, I will create a visual and tactile landscape in which the aesthetics and materials of industrial and hand made objects are combined.

These combinations of materials and processes will give birth to ‘new corpus’ presented on their own landscape.

at home at Mobilia

If you are living in Amsterdam you probably know the store Mobilia Woonstudio. Recently they renovated their showroom and it truly has become more beautiful then ever. Great high ceilings and old brick walls make the perfect surrounding for all the furniture pieces.

I feel at home at Mobilia immediately when visiting and seeing these pictures. If you ever are in the neighborhood you really should pay a visit and see yourself.

kødbyens fiskebar

A new 'must thing to do' on my Copenhagen list: a visit at kødbyens fiskebar (translation : the meat district’s fishbar). A restaurant what is about fresh, healthy, relaxed, atmospheric and affordable experiences” . It is designed by Space, one of the most known architect and design firms. I like the concept and I think they did a great job with the styling. It looks rough and clean at the same time. What I also like is the simplicity of the logo, really beautiful. 

project white

Last weekend we started with a little/big project at home...painting our wooden floor white. We did a bit of camping with all the stuff on the highest floor. Yesterday we finally could put everything back. Still not all finished cause this week the second part of the floor will be done. But I am already so happy with the result. We used the traditional paint by Pure & Original in the color White. It is a really bright white making it perfect for your floor.

Discovered this great new kids toy at one of my blogfriends Orphan Socks. This natural wooden toy set by Mielasiela is available in a boy or a girl set. The funky little figures fit gently in the hands of your little one.

Just love how these little figures look like and I think every boy or girl would be very happy to play with them. And of course they also would look great in a kids room as decoration.
