Bodie and Fou

Have you already seen the brand new catalogue and website of Bodie and Fou? They again did an amazing job with this new catalogue. Lots and lots of amazing things all together with also great pictures shot at the home of Karine.

I especially love that graphic touch and I am a huge fan of their art prints...

Well take a look yourself if you did not already have done that.

This is work from ' DE INTUÏTIEFABRIEK' . They are a designstudio of four female designers, all graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven. This is the first collection of the ladies, it named Metrolpolis. They combined their excisting individual work to create a new world. In ‘Metropolis’ vases become buildings, flowers become bridges, bowls become valleys and spoons become ladders…I will show you more soon..

graphic collection made by AprilandMay

It's almost two weeks now since we have launched our shop byAprilandMay. And so many great items have found a new owner. Ofcourse we would like to tell you something more about the products in our shop and the designers behind them.

Let's start with our own graphic collection made by AprilandMay. We started working together with Maren Lösing to create our own label of graphic cards and prints for made by AprilandMay. Maren is a great designer creating beautiful graphic stuff and we are glad to work with her.

The first collection consists out of 5 graphic cards printed on recycled paper. The cards are A5 size, just a bit bigger then normal :). Also we have selected one print that we loved so much for a poster size, called Dots and Squares. And we will continue to create more :)

Love the above pictures Aimee made of the cards and posters. Thank you Aimee.

You can buy the cards and poster here in our shop. We were just wondering? What is your favourite piece and why?

Matka vase

I love the vases from Studio Pepe Heykoop. Matka Vase is designed using recycled matka’s (stainless steel water carriers) and scrap leather. Therefore, every single vase contains a unique and personal story both of its previous owner and the person who gave it new life and use. Matka Vase has just recently gone into production and proceeds from sales are partly used to send street children to school.

my impression

After my holiday and with the deadline for our shop in just a few days I paid a speed visit to the Woonbeurs in Amsterdam this year. I did not have many time but this was my impression of the Woonbeurs this year. Hope to have more time next year.
